We have some fantastic plans for our site. Here are some news updates:


  • Ali Baig a lecturer at Coventry University and a food connoisseur joins our team.
  • We are currently building up a database of good halal restaurants all over the UK.
  • Previously we have provided only basic information about good halal food places but had several emails indicating that was not enough and we aim to provide authentic reviews with photographs and more.

Law changes in Denmark

Danish law changes to religious slaughtering practices now require animals to be stunned before they are killed. According to Khalil Jaffar, an imam at the Islamic Cultural Centre in Copenhagen, the new law does not effect the Muslims. According to a report on Al Jazeera , " Danish Islamic leaders had issued a religious decree several years ago saying that animals stunned before slaughter were considered halal in Denmark". Any good halal eating places in Denmark?
